Uses:

Used a lot for the treatment of insomnia, irritability, irritable bowel syndrome. 

Eases tension and anxiety and are used where this leads to sleeplessness, headaches, and possible indigestion. 

Can be used in cases of mucous colitis. Decreases the desire for alcohol.

 Increases the appetite and improves digestion. 

Used for menstrual and menopausal problems.

 

Directions to use:

Infusion: Pour a cup of boiling water over 1 teaspoon of the herb. Stand for 10-15min. Drink 1 cup at night to induce sleep. This dose might be strengthened if needed.
